I CREATE DIGITAL EXPERIENCES

I turn research insights into delightful solutions. Either as part of a design team or as the only designer in the company, I enjoy organizing information and features in a way that is simpler to use.

WHY UX?

In 2015, I designed my first user interface to be used in a 700-horsepower industrial boiler. 

The thrill of seeing the UI I had designed being used to control that massive equipment and the fire within it was quite rewarding, but there was another moment I will never forget: The smile on the supervisor’s face while showing it to the operators.

I chose UX because I love to see the smiles of people using something that makes their lives easier, and I love to know I have the power to provide them that happiness.

PERSONALLY

I am a lifelong learner who has worked as a journalist, photographer, writer, editor, designer, radio host, environmental educator, language teacher, and administrator of a family business.

I like to learn from people and about people; that's why I have visited 20 countries and endeavored in adventures like riding a 250 cc motorbike from my hometown in Mexico to Niagara and back in the rain season.

I'm always up to new challenges!
